Welcome to my newest offering, downloads of my automotive instructional DVD’s. Just follow the instructions below and be sure to contact me if you have any problem.
Instructions for video purchase and downloads
1. First, go to my
products page to read over the title
information your interested in. Now go directly to
www.openfilm.com/users/badshoe, find the channel title you want,
click on it, a short video clip plus all the sections will be shown. The
sections can be bought there (most title sections total to $29.95).
Continue to step 2.
2. Next you will need to register with openfilm so the fees can be paid
and the downloads performed. Click on my link to
www.openfilm.com/users/badshoe
3. In the upper right hand corner, you will see “join now”, click it and
fill out;
Username, email address and password, then click join under the free
registration. Keep this registration for future purchases.
4. You can now click on Welcome To BadShoe Productions for an introduction
or click on the short clip video related to the title if you like. It will
show a scene from the DVD channel and the “about” link on the left has
text with details about the subject video.
5. All my titles are divided into 2 to 6 download sections to make each
download more manageable. Although each download has it’s own price, all
title sections can be paid at the same time (each download section is
$2.99 to $9.99 if bought directly at openfilm). I urge you to buy and view
all title sections together because scenes from one section may have
references back to another section therefore the complete DVD should be
seen in it’s entirety for a good understanding of the subject. I’ve priced
the video and download sections so the total given for a title is about
the same or a little less than buying the DVD. Of course, shipping fees
and waiting for the package to arrive, is eliminated.
6. Now click on one of the title section I emailed you (and put in
password if needed). When you move the mouse curser over the Buy button
and you will see “iPhone version and Full version” (some titles will not
have the full version). Both versions are in the mp4 format however the
iPhone version file is more compressed to be used on a mobile device or
computer. I found the iPhone version downloads a little faster and still
views fine on a laptop screen (Quick Time/iTunes or compatible viewer is
needed). Free download software here;

7. When you click the version, a note appears “video added to shopping cart”.
For adding the remaining title section downloads, repeat note 6 above
until the shopping cart has all desired sections. To view shopping cart,
click the basket icon at upper right. Review your choices, delete or add a
section as needed, click continue.
8. Fill out credit card info, name, address and email address and click
continue for the download fee.
9. Now go back to your open film account by clicking “Me” at upper right
then click dashboard. On the left side click “online store” then “video
purchase” and you will see your purchased titles. At this time, you should
be able to click on the title and watch the streaming video directly from
openfilm as long as the password is enforce (if any) however you can make
the download to your computer at any time. Now click the download button
to download each of your sections. Your broadband connection will need to
be 200 KB/sec. or faster to reduce download times. Most of the titles will
have total file sizes in the 2 to 3 GB range.
10. Finally, please email me to let me know if you have concerns about
your purchase or downloads. Also, be sure to look over the PDF file that’s
part of the video package.
